Before & After School Club

Before & After School Club runs daily during term time; we provide wrap around care for children between the ages of 4-11 who attend Bishop Wilson CE Primary School. The fees are variable depending on number of days and length of time required (see below) - all payments must be made via ParentPay. Please note that we are not able to offer credit. If debts are accrued, your child's place may be withdrawn until any outstanding monies are paid.

Each child is encouraged to make their own choices regarding the activities they choose to participate in. In keeping with the EYFS requirements, Before & After School Club offers structured adult-led activities as well as free choice.

Weekly programmes of activities may include:

· Art using various mediums and the exploration of cultural diversity

· Construction and Lego toys

· Board games

· Music/dance

· Indoor Physical activities i.e. Football table

· Baking/decorating

Our Sessions:

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club opens at 7.30am, and parents can choose to bring their children from 7.30am or 8am.

(Breakfast is served from 7.30am-8.30am). Please note breakfast is not served after 8.30am

The children have a choice of crafts activities, board games, interactive computer tables and outside play when the weather is dry.

We will take children to class in time for registration at the beginning of the school day.

Afterschool Club

After school club runs from 3:15-4:30pm. Please note the setting venue will close at 4.30pm sharp

The afternoon club will follow a similar format, children will be given a drink and snack at the beginning of the session. The children are offered a selection of healthy foods including bagels, yogurt and a selection of fruit. We meet individual dietary requirements. 

Late Collections: we understand that from time to time, there may be a legitimate reason for occasional late collections, however you must inform wraparound staff. If you are late on a regular basis and there are no extenuating circumstances a late fee will be implemented

Registration

Parents must complete a new registration form and read the accompanying paperwork before their children can attend sessions. 

Important Information for your Child

Please ensure you keep school up to date with any allergy, dietary or health care changes for your child.

Admission to Breakfast Club

The club is fully inclusive for all children. There are limited places available and are allocated on a first come, first serve basis. We do not currently have a waiting list but should the need arise, places will be allocated in the following order of priority:

• Siblings of children already attending the club
• Those requiring the greatest number of sessions/hours per week.

To attend Before & After School Club, parents must complete a registration form for each child. Once this form has been received, a child can attend the club the next school day. 

Temporary bookings: We will accept temporary or occasional bookings as long as there are places available.

Booking and Payment Procedure

Bookings must be made on the school gateway app in advance. Please ensure you book the correct session slot for each child attending.

All sessions are charged per child per session. All fees must be paid for on ParentPay. Failure to make payment may result in a child's place being withdrawn. 

Behaviour 

Before & After School Club follows the School's Behaviour Policy to ensure consistency for children at the club. Consistently poor behaviour may result in a child's place being withdrawn.
